Enduros and other competitive events

Trail bike rallies are ideal for the first time competitor as well as the more experienced, with a reduced distance beginners class. The lap is long distance (40 to 50 miles) with gravel road and more technical sections, and are usually run over 6 hours. Hare and hounds laps are typically 3 to 15 miles and are a shorter day’s riding, 3 or 4 hours, but are more demanding in terrain.

The Hafren Dirt Bike Club organise one or two a year: the main one being the Hafren Rally in October. The club also run British Championship enduros.

The Rhayader Club organise hare and hounds and enduros.

The Dyfed Dirt Bike Club run the Brechfa Rally, Caio Enduro and Dolgoch Sprint. They also hold practice days.

WTRA run the Beacons Rally and several enduros.

WOR Events organise enduro events for all levels of rider in North Wales and England.

It is illegal for riders to practice in forests or moorland. The Police are active in Mid Wales.

Enduro schools

All these enduro schools allow riders to bring their own bikes, or you can hire an enduro bike for your day.
