We use three different areas and they are long distances apart. For instance, you wouldn't want to book accommodation in Pontrhydfendigaid and then find you are riding near Dolgellau - they are 90 miles and 2 hours journey from each other! Please ask if you are not sure where it would be best to stay.

Our houseThe accommodation is open plan with 4 beds upstairs and 1 small double bed downstairs. Breakfast is provided, and an evening meal can be ordered if you prefer not to go out. For trail riding, most people stay in the Llanidloes area, although the Machynlleth area may be better if you are doing two days riding with different start places.

A few miles from us, there are a few places to stay in/near Trefeglwys: The Grandstand 01686 430491, (highly recommended by Zoe and Tony!), Castell-y-Gwynt 01686 430480, situated in beautiful surroundings high above the village, and Cefngwyn 01686 430648, a working farm in the Trannon Valley.
In Llanidloes, there is a good choice of accommodation, one of which is the Mount Inn 01686 412247. Others include Lloyds Hotel with gourmet evening meal, 01686 412284; The Severn View Guesthouse, 01686 412207; the Royal Head Hotel, 01686 412583; The Unicorn Hotel, 01686 413167; The Orchard House Hotel, 01686 413606.
At Cwmbelan, a few miles from Llanidloes, there is Glyngwynwydd 01686 413854.
In Caersws, there is the Unicorn Hotel phone 01686 688237, with secure parking and drying room if you have your own bikes.
In Llangurig, there is the The Old Vicarage 01686 440280; the Bluebell Hotel, 01686 440254 and Mrs Pope on 01686 440232 who can provide B and B or camping facilities. Near Llangurig, on the A44 towards Aberystwyth, there are two B and B's:- and Plas Bwlch 01686 440659.
Nearest if you are riding from Bwlch Nant yr Arian Visitor Centre, is The Dyffryn Castell Hotel, Ponterwyd, 01970 890237. Not far in Devils Bridge, there is the Hafod Arms 01970 890232, and Mount Pleasant Guest House, 01970 890219. If you want to camp, there is the Woodlands for camping and caravans.
Two B and Bs are particularly welcoming to riders: Maenllwyd in Machynlleth, phone 01654 702928 and Plas Mawr, phone 01654 781286, on the A487 at Eglwysfach. There is the Wynnstay Arms Hotel in the town, 01654 702941.
