Colin
Colin has been riding motorbikes for many years, and has been teaching off-road motorbike riding for twelve years. In the past he has competed in roadracing, motocross and enduros. His own enduro bike is a Husqvarna WR250 two stroke. He assists the Hafren Dirt Bike Club events, and will be marshalling at this year’ s World Enduro Round in July.Marianne
Marianne has also been riding motorbikes for many years, both solos and sidecars, and has been teaching beginners and improvers since 1992. She is an active member of the Mid Wales Trail Riders Fellowship, and occasionally competes as a sidecar driver. With Gerwyn Davies, her passenger who lives locally, their best result was third place in the Clubman Class of the BSEA Championship in 2002. She began driving a sidecar in 1997 as her daughter Barbara, then 16, wanted to have a go as a passenger. The picture is Marianne and Barbara in the 1998 Natterjack Enduro.
Lucie
Lucie, aged 14, is pictured riding Colin's Husky WR250. She began riding motorbikes in 2003 on the Yamaha RT100, and now rides any of the bikes on riding days at the farm. When she was smaller she came trail riding as a pillion passenger, but now she is a sidecar passenger!
