Colin

Colin has been riding motorbikes for many years, and has been teaching off-road motorbike riding for twelve years. In the past he has competed in roadracing, motocross and enduros. His own enduro bike is a Husqvarna WR250 two stroke. He assists the Hafren Dirt Bike Club events, and was a marshal at the World Enduro Round in 2008. Before starting Trail Rides Wales, he worked for the Yamaha Off Road Experience and occasionally assisted Wyn Hughes run the Husky Sport Enduro Schools.

Lucie

Lucie, aged 15, is pictured riding one of the TE250s, because she is very tall! She began riding motorbikes in 2003 on the Yamaha RT100, and now rides any of the bikes (the 510 only on very easy going!). When she was smaller she came trail riding as a pillion passenger, but now she is a sidecar passenger when trail riding. She is looking forward to getting a Husky 50 when she is sixteen.

Marianne

Marianne has also been riding motorbikes for many years, both solos and sidecars, and has been teaching beginners and improvers since 1992. She is an active member of the Mid Wales TRF group, and used to compete as a sidecar driver. With Gerwyn Davies, her passenger who lives locally, their best result was third place in the Clubman Class of the British Sidecar Enduro Association's Championship in 2002. She began driving a sidecar in 1997 as her daughter Barbara, then 16, wanted to have a go as a passenger. The picture is of Marianne and Barbara competing in the Weston Beach Race in 2008.
