Trail Riding Using Hire Bikes

You will have the choice of Honda, Yamaha and Suzuki motorcycles, which all have different characteristics and suit riders of different heights. We ride on roads so you need to hold a motorcycle licence. We can provide a 125cc bike for provisional licence holders.

We ride in Mid Wales and South Snowdonia, and cover a good variety of sustainable roads and byways. The historical trails go high over mountain tracks with fantastic views, drop down into wooded valleys or run alongside the many lakes and reservoirs in the area. Colin and Marianne have been trail riders for over twenty years.

If you are a road rider with no previous off-road or trail riding experience, you will find our day a challenge. By the end you will be tired with a great feeling of achievement! Your motorcycling skills will benefit, as balance, braking, acceleration and clutch control all improve. Although most people start with one or two days, we can offer longer courses by arrangement.

If you are an experienced trail or offroad rider, Colin can take you on some unique lanes. You may have heard of Strata Florida, Happy Valley and Pontscethin. All are within our routes!

"I would just like to say a big thank you to both of you for the weekend me and Adrian just had. You run one of the best adventure experiences that I’ve ever been on. I find most adventure weekends a little tame but this one was (and I quote from Adrian), the best weekend he has ever had!"
Graham from Shropshire

Enduro Sidecar

For people who enjoy something a little different, we have a KHR XR650 enduro sidecar. If you have experience of riding sidecars, you could bring a non-riding friend along as a passenger. If you wish to try being a passenger, Marianne, Lucie or Colin can drive the sidecar. Please note that the sidecar has no seat and the passenger stands on a platform and is active in assisting control of the outfit. It looks like these ones on YouTube (opens in new window).
