Colin has been riding motorbikes for many years, and has been teaching off-road motorbike riding for twelve years. In the past he has competed in roadracing, motocross and enduros. His own enduro bike is a Husqvarna WR250 two stroke. He assists the Hafren Dirt Bike Club events, and before staringTrail Rides Wales, he worked for the Yamaha Off Road Experience and occasionally assisted Wyn Hughes run the Husky Sport Enduro Schools. He enjoys track days on his Benelli Tornado Tre.
Lucie, aged 17, is pictured riding a Husky TE250. She has been riding for 6 years and rides any of the bikes (the 510 only on very easy going!) and also passengers on the enduro sidecar.
Marianne has also been riding motorbikes for many years, both solos and sidecars, and has been teaching beginners and improvers since 1992. She is an active member of the Mid Wales TRF group, and used to compete as an enduro sidecar driver. With Gerwyn Davies, her passenger who lives locally, their best result was third place in the Clubman Class of the British Sidecar Enduro Association's Championship in 2002. She began driving a sidecar in 1997 as her daughter Barbara, then 16, wanted to have a go as a passenger. She now races a Formula 2 sidecar, a 1996 Baker Thundercat, and has a new passenger for 2012. The picture is of her first race at Tonfanau in 2011 with Rachel Morris passengering.
